Putin ordered the attack
A statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin was first broadcast on TV in the early hours of Thursday (24 February 2022). In which he announced ‘military action’ in the eastern Donbas region of Ukraine. Many Ukrainians who speak Russian live here.
